Nicked from AJ

by Miza-T @ 2008-06-29 - 00:20:36

=>

You may ask me three questions and I shall try to answer them.
Things that you would like to know about me or my life, my past my future, what makes me tick, what makes me sick.
From the mundane to the serious - fire away and I will endeavour to answer for you...
but I make no promises!

Wake up man...

by Miza-T @ 2008-06-18 - 00:28:57

or woman in this case.

I am so fucking upset with myself. Oh and I dont swear, but fuck it.
Summer is coming and that means all my classes will stop. And that means no work and no money for the next few months. The problem is I have none already. And this same situation has been happening for many years.
And everytime classes stop for the summer I tell myself I have to find a permanent job!But I never do.

I try, but I don't think I try hard enough.

I feel like I've been vegetating for too long. I don't have the energy and willpower to do anything.
I don't feel like painting, I don't feel like redecorating the house, I don't feel like dressing up and going out at night.I'm tired of doing nothing.I'm at a point of laziness and apathy that's driving me mad.

I have too many personal problems, yes, but that's not new and I always find a way to keep going. But this time is different, my brain is full of thoughts, many ideas that maybe I should put into practice. But I'm not sure of anything.Right now, I don't even have the energy to put my pyjamas on and go to the bed.And I'm drinking coffee and smoking, how stupid is that!

I definitely need to react!!

Next!

Euro 08 for ladies only!

by Miza-T @ 2008-06-10 - 22:04:46

I mean, some ladies actually enjoy the game for the love of the sport, which is fair enough!
I actually enjoy watching my beloved country playing and I'm so very proud of their football...
...BUT...Ladies, even if you don't like football, you have to agree with me, it's worthwhile watching !

Never thought about that? No? Think again;)

My Lucky Bamboo is dying!!!
It was a presie from my baby on mothers day and this is what it's written in it (well not in it, but on the lil paper stuck to it:)))

"Lucky Bamboo grows in water like cut flowers, but it will last for years.Place the bamboo in shallow water....bla,bla,bla.....and in the end says:
Enjoy! And don't forget, you really can't kill this one!"

And mine is dying!!:'(

I made the impossible!!

Tagged my sweetymon

by Miza-T @ 2008-06-06 - 23:24:26

The Rules:
Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5-6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.

1. What I was doing 10 years ago:
I was living in Brazil, making a living as an artist. I had a studio, where I taught art. I was a proactive person, I set many art exhibitions and sold many paintings. I was also finishing my book, I had a black poodle and I was happy.

2. What 5 things are on on my to-do list for today:
- Clean the house
- Set the table and start a painting ( deadline is end of June)
- shout at the dog ( he ate my coffee table)
- watch TV
- avoid all of the above

3. Snacks I enjoy:
- Doritos + salsa
- Octopus salad
- Clams
- Lupini Beans

4. Things I would do if I was a billionaire:
- Travel around the world
- Help all my family ( 2 sisters, parents, 1 sister in law, in laws, 2 nieces)
- Buy my fame as an artist;)
- Buy a house with a sea view
- Stop smoking:))

5. Places I have lived:
- Portugal ( 5 different places)
- Brazil ( Sao Paulo)
- England ( Scouseland)

I tag 5 people who haven't been tagged yet;)

Okay, this is a very boring post:zz:

Here I am, procrastinating at 1.45 am and before closing the computer decide to take a quiz. This is the result. Now I am oficially depressed!!

:'(
:**:
XX(

Here is your life:

You'll live in a shack. You make $100.00 a year. You don't own a car. Your job will be either ice cream vendor or garbage person. Your husband/wife: Fairly old, and very serious. There will be too many kids that you can't handle. Because of a disease, you will die when you're 50. But you'll make it to heaven!

Don't like your result? Take this quiz again!

This was on HI5, I still can't do links...whatever

E-petitions.

by Miza-T @ 2008-06-03 - 16:40:19

No, I'm not asking you to sign any petition!
I signed one ages ago and today I received an email with the answer given by the prime minister.
To be honest I've forgotten about it, but in a way to avoid cleaning up the mess Mister Oliver did in my absence, I started reading some petitions.
And I thought I would start from the end;) and you wouldn't believe what some people are asking for!88|
What a waste of the precious politicians time:))

So let's say in the Education department you may want to sign this petition.

Or maybe this one?

perhaps you prefer to sign to make Drama a compulsory National Curriculum subject in its own right.

or...to Teach Japanese to UK Schools.

or...to stop allowing shops to trade on GOOD FRIDAY

I'll stop here, but it is worth a visit, if you have nothing better to do!

I had a good laugh:>>

PS. It is a very serious and important site and some of the petitions can actually make me cry, but I'm up for a laugh today;)

Liverpool One.

by Miza-T @ 2008-06-02 - 10:28:25

Looks like finally there is something interesting about Liverpool, other than Museums. Althought the citie is still a giant building site, and you have to walk through hundreds of builders and giant potentially hazardous machinery, I must admit I was pleasantly surprised by this:

www.liverpool-one.com/website

And the fact that shops now open till 8 it's called progress. I mean shopping centres close at 11.30 in my country, but still:)

What is slighty stupid is that all the old shops are closing down and moving to the new area, leaving the heart of the citie kinda of dead. And of course, shoppers who can't afford to make the move are very, very worried indeed.

The price of progressU-(
