  • Number six

Useful information. This is the result of my numerology test ( well, part of it, cause I'm not paying to read the full thing)
I am easily amused, but this is exactly how I am.

    My Soul Number is SIX.

Devoted, loving, and sympathetic, your life centers around the well-being of your family and those you love. A happy, harmonious personal life is what you value above all else. You will also find satisfaction in serving those in the outside world, becoming involved in the helping professions, in community service and affairs, or by giving generously of your time and help to your friends. You are protective, responsible, and conscientious towards those who depend upon you, and you are the ideal mother or father in many ways, though you can be too involved in the lives of your loved ones. Learn to allow family members the freedom and room to make their own choices and mistakes.

You respond to beauty, and are gifted in the arts. Creating a beautiful garden or home is very satisfying to you.

  • Know me !!

I was reading my horoscope, and the site was giving a free destinity report ( small part of it,of course), and do you know what?? This is me!!So, if anyone wants to know me better...

First of all, Maria, you very much enjoy the fruits of the earth in a simple, uncomplicated way. You have a deep rapport with nature and its rhythms, and if you cannot live in the country, you need at least to have a view of some natural beauty or to be surrounded with living or growing things. You have a strong affinity for plants. Regular contact with the land, forests, mountains, or your garden restores you, and without it you lose your center and your peace. When you are at your best, you function like a healthy animal, following what your instincts and your senses tell you. Your well known stubbornness and resistance to change is in part a reflection of your strong need to follow your own instincts and proceed at your own natural pace. As a wise one once phrased it "A soul must never be pushed or driven, but allowed to unfold naturally, like a flower blossoming bit by bit in the sunshine". This sense of a natural unfolding process underlies your tendency to be both steadily patient and very obstinate when faced with the need to make sudden moves or adapt to changes. Furthermore, Maria, your contribution in life has to do with, building (solid foundations, assets, structures), and continuing, sustaining, and preserving what has already been attained (thus, your disinclination to embrace innovation or change).

  • YOU

    You have your way
    I have my way
As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way,
    it does not exist.

  • Tags!

May I ask my blog friends, how on earth I have so many silly tags??
"have a doctorate on child beating" ???????????????????????????????????????????????:##
Who did that?? I dearly love children, and I AM the most patient mom (person)in the world!! Actually if I could I would probably have a few more babies. I love babies, I love their smell, and it's been so long since I last held a baby, I feel very tempted to grab babies in the street just to hug!So, dear friends Tag me nuts 8|if you want, but nothing against children, please!!:'(

  • Damn sellers

Okay, so I phoned british gas to set up a direct direct debit on my electricity bill. The guy was all prestative, and goes on trying to sell me a homecare plan to kitchen appliances. Did I say trying? No he managed to. So for £17.50 a month I now benefit from a 24 hour service to repair any appliance, including my microwave!!
I was slighty annoyed by my incompetence to say no!
Today I received the paperwork by post and decided to cancel the plan!
Very determined, I give them a call. So, the woman goes on why do I want to cancel it. And I said because I decided that if something breaks down, I'll just replace it by a new one! And anyway what's the point of having a microwave on this, if I can buy a new one for £20??
Did I say, I was determined?
I now have a home care plan covering everything but the microwave, and I only pay £13 a month!
Shit, shit, shit!! DAMN YOU SELLERS! I hate you !

  • FEAR

For no apparent reason I've just remembered this presentation I was assisting, together with around 500 lecturers/colleagues.
The speaker was a motivator, and I totally forgot his name but there is one thing he said, that I will always remember.

He asked us: Do you know what FEAR stands for?
    No answer.
So he shouts: It means "Fu** Everything And Run":))

    Best presentation, so far.Stylish.

  • My lovely students are easily amused

Just a few random stuff that happened in class today ( With my 17 year olds).

First thing at 9 o'clock in the morning,an "inspector" came to observe me! Hurray!! But I had a Good grade, not outstanding, but Good.Oh well, I know I'm great,nevermind...)-o
We were doing portraits today, and I asked students to chose a famous person to draw, someone I could look at and identify.
So, I gave some examples, Meryl Streep, Demi Moore, Brad Pitt.

A funny boy asked me : would you do Brad Pitt?
I answered straight away: Ya! dooh, are you kidding, of course I would!
    Everybody starts laughing...... no comments

A girl said: yesterday I cried watching Emmerdale.
A mate comments: I don't watch soaps.I'd rather play playstation.
And I said, Oh I don't watch soaps either, I like playstation, love playing Vice city!
And they were all so amused! They couldn't believe it!:DD

One student said I am a lady with a great sense of fashion.:lalala:

One student said: Please Maria, don't leave us ever again ( I was off last class), the other teachers are dead boring and strict. You can't be off anymore, we miss you.

I'm flattered. I had a good day. The moon is full and the sky is clean, I got 2 numbers and a star on euromillions, I won £1 on a scratch card.

Life is made of little things.
